Microsoft releases Insider Preview Build 16257 for PC
It's another week, so time for another Windows 10 Insider Preview for the fast ring users. Yesterday Microsoft releases Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 16257 for PC along with Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build 15237, also for the fast ring users too. The new build comes in exactly a week after the last one, which was 16251. You can read more about that build in this post. The main attraction of this build is the inception of new 'Eye Control' feature which is now in beta stage. This new feature will allow users to control text-to-speech, an on-screen mouse and keyboard, and several other common Windows tasks by tracking eye user movements via a connected camera device. To set up Eye Control a user needs to access Accessibility options by heading to Settings > Ease of Access > Other Options > Eye control and turn it on. Except that the other notable features include Microsoft Edge, Windows Console and Windows Defender improvements. I will write my experiences after completing my download of this new build as soon as possible.
By the way. There will be no new Windows Server Insider Preview Build for Windows Insiders in this week!
