Samsung Galaxy S8 Active will not feature dual curved display
When Samsung announced Galaxy S8 this year with the only dual curved screen, which is vulnerable to crack, one of the questions that popped up to my head was, what will now Samsung do regarding their US bound AT&T model? Because this model is not only waterproof but also designed with military grade protection. Now from an online documentation by Wireless Power Consortium, the front of the device lacks the curved edges but going through no clickable home button this time. It looks like the phone will have the same sensors on the top while power button will be on the right side, and the left is reserved for a volume rocker and a Bixby button.
Wireless Power Consortium clearly mentions the device’s model number as SM-G892A which is quite consistent with previous releases. Now let's wait and see how much time Samsung and AT&T need to make this device official. So keep your finger crossed for a Galaxy S8 variant with a much bigger battery than the regular counterpart.
