Apple iTunes is coming to the Windows Store
'Build 2017' was an important program for Microsoft's perspective. Build 2017 was held in Seattle and Microsoft has unveiled the next Windows 10 update codenamed 'Windows 10 Fall Creators Update', which will be arriving in the fall. They also released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 16193 for PC to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring along with Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build 15213 to move things parallelly further.
But I am not here to discuss the latest Windows builds. in the same event, Microsoft announced something important and unexpected. Apple iTunes will be coming to the Windows Store, which is pretty big and good news in every aspect. It might not sound like an important addition, but iTunes is one of the most searched for apps that’s currently missing in the Windows Store. Having it in the store would make it a lot easier for most people to download it on their computer.
It also means that those running Windows 10 S will be able to use iTunes in their PCs. iTunes is the bigger win for Microsoft's ecosystem, given Apple's general reluctance to bring most of its apps and services to competing platforms. Microsoft didn't commit to a release date for iTunes during the event.
