Rugged LG X venture is now available in US for $330

I have always been an admirer of rugged devices. In 2017, I am always carrying a digital camera with me because it's rugged. When I am going to buy a phone, its rigidity and waterproofness are my 1st concern. One of the problems with rugged devices is its price. These devices always tend to sit at the top of the price tier. At last LG decided to intervene in this situation and released a mid-range Android powered phone in USA. The LG X venture is now listed on AT&T's website for $11/month on a 30-month agreement or $330 outright. The X venture features IP68 water and dust protection, and 14 MIL-STD 810G certifications for extreme temperatures. It can also withstand shock and water as well as multiple immersions up to 1.5 meters deep. The device is available in two color options – black and chocolate brown.

The LG X venture also features Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 1.4 GHz processor, coupled with 2GB RAM, 5.2-inch fullHD display, and 32GB internal memory. Further, the device features a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front wide angle camera. Android 7.0 Nougat runs the device with a 4100mAh battery inside. The weight of the phone is 166.5 grams and its 9.3mm in thickness. It has both 3.5mm audio jack and Type-C USB connector.
