Grab Samsung Gear VR just for $45 while you can
This might be the best time to buy Samsung's 2016 edition of Gear VR headset. Amazon, the largest online retailer in the USA currently selling the international variant of the headset just for $45.98. A couple of weeks ago the price was around $55, which was already way under $99 when released. This model of Gear VR made its debut with the Galaxy Note7, but don't worry. It is also compatible with Samsung flagships like the Galaxy S7, S7 edge, Note5, S6 edge+, S6 and the S6 edge.
Because of the Samsung's partnership with Oculus, the Gear VR content library is now very rich and boasts an ever-growing category's of high-quality content. The 2016 Gear VR has a larger field of view increasing from 96 degrees to 101, it puts the Gear VR on a par with the Vive and Rift for this spec at least. The Gear VR (2016) uses USB C as its main connector but Samsung packs a USB Type-C adaptor with it so that means all of previous Samsung phones are OK to run. You can just pop the USB-C adaptor out and swap it for a regular old Micro USB one.
