DirectX 11 Update Improves Graphics Performance In Windows 7
DirectX 11, the next generation of Windows DirectX graphic technology will be implement on Windows 7 with support wide varieties of Windows games and graphic display devices. After making DirectX 10 available for windows Vista, Microsoft has released DirectX 11 in Windows 7 last year. Microsoft DirectX is a collection of application programming interfaces (APIs) for handling tasks related to multimedia, especially game programming and video, on Microsoft platforms.
DirectX® 11, the next generation of graphics technology, arrives with Windows 7. By using DirectX 11 new windows games will take full advantage of this technology to create more immersive and detailed worlds and experiences. Game developers will utilize new features to create rich worlds, realistic characters, and more fluid gameplay. And you gamers will feel it!
After almost 1 year of Windows 7 official release users running Windows 7 can now download an update to improve performance and essentially boost DirectX 11 in Windows 7. The update should also provide a performance boost to Windows Server 2008 R2 RTM.
The update, labeled ‘KB2028560′, will work in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavours of Windows 7 and is not only available through the download center, but will also come in Windows Update. There are very few details about the specifics of the graphics update.
