How To Use Dreamscene In Your Windows 7 & Dreamscene Video Download
mMicrosoft deleted one of Windows Vista's Nice Customization feature called Dremescene-may be because of its Resource hungry nature. This feature allow Windows Vista Ultimate User to choose any video as desktop background. Though it probably wasn’t the most economically with power consumption and CPU usage, but it was still pretty cool. It seems Microsoft decided not to include this feature in Windows 7, because of an effort to make the OS more stable and less power hungry, but as usual, where there’s a will there’s a way of course.
Windows 7 DreamScene Activator by Kishan Bagaria is a free tiny portable tool that activates DreamScene in Windows 7. DreamScene is a feature that allows users to set any video in WMV/MPG format as the desktop wallpaper. It works in both 32 bit & 64 bit version.
How To Use Windows 7 Dreamscene Activator:
1. Run the tool as administrator. In case you get an unhandled exception error, simply click on Continue.
2. Click Enable DreamScene. It will now copy the required files and add the necessary registry keys & values. Then it will restart Windows Explorer & DreamScene will be enabled.
3. DreamScene Activator also adds the option for you to right click on a video and set it as your wallpaper. It also adds the controls to your desktop so you can pause and play by accessing the right click context menu. Right-Click on any video in WMV/MPG format and select Set as desktop background. Now the selected video will be set as the desktop wallpaper.
